Build-Zone is one of only 5 government approved structural warranty providers in the UK. We cover all building types, dwellings and commercial buildings, large developers to self-builders. Build-Zone provides warranties on many types of new and alternative constructions, be they the newer MMC system or kit builds. We welcome green and alternative technologies such as straw-bale, no concrete, green roofs etc and also older, traditional methods, such as cob, lime and thatch. We believe we are the only warranty company to provide cover on cavity less constructions. In fact, our expert surveyors assess all proposals against the same criteria, and if they meet the standards they are acceptable.

Currently, we operate throughout the UK and Ireland, via a network of professional surveyors controlled by Surveyor Link Ltd, our appointed technical operations managers. Through them, we can offer cost-savings opportunities via our partnering Approved Inspector companies (not available in Scotland or Northern Ireland). You can choose these companies, jhai ltd and BBS, to carry out your Building Control instead of the local authority. This means we do not require you to purchase a technical audit – our independent review of your project – saving you, on a single dwelling several hundred pounds and much more on larger developments. This is only available currently when you purchase your warranty from Build-Zone and your Building Control from jhai or BBS.
