The restoration of an old property should involve attention to detail. Cottages, farmhouses, period townhouses and barn conversions all have individuality that deserves to be preserved.

All of the items shown here have been drawn and hand forged in the traditional fashion, and all designs are faithful reproductions of the best in English blacksmithing. Classical designs continue to be in great demand because of their timeless appearance and functionality. They are ideally suited for listed and period properties. All products are treated with bees-wax imparting a beautiful patina. This gives excellent protection where products are fitted internally; an occasional polish with a brush or cloth is all that might be required. However, mild steel or malleable iron, which are the two materials we forge, when fitted in damp bathrooms or to the exterior of properties, have the potential to exhibit surface rust. In these situations we advise that an application of bees-wax (Briwax or similar), will restore the finish and afford protection. Alternatively, a Powder Coated finish on selected items will avoid the need for maintenance.
