Limewash

We supply a traditional lime putty based limewash with added linseed oil to improve weather resistance. In addition to white we can supply a range of pre-mixed colours. Limewash colours are extremely difficult to reproduce accurately. We therefore recommend that you request one of our tester pots so that you can see the colour in situ. Please see our guidesheet on applying limewash for further advice.

1 litre of limewash will cover 3 to 6 sq.m. for each coat, depending on the porosity and smoothness of the surface being limewashed. Four coats of limewash are recommended on new external renders and three coats on new internal plasters.

We can supply 250ml tester pots of all of our limewash colours for £1.50 (excluding VATand P&P). If you require a colour not listed below please contact us as other colours are available to order.
