1kg of animal hair for adding to lime mortars to aid the key around laths and to bind base coats where required.

1kg can be mixed with approximately 12- 15 tubs of mortar. Correct quantities would need to be assessed on site. As a guide, a trowelful of mortar pulled out of the mixer should have plenty of individual hairs sticking out all around it
