Rationel AURAPLUS is a prize winning range of triple glazed windows and doors made in timber with external aluminium cladding. These custom windows have a slim design givieng an optimum provision of light. Rationel AURAPLUS is designed for modern energy-efficient buildings.
Rationel AURAPLUS' design is sleek, elegant and creates a beautiful architectural appearance. Whether you're building new or refurbishing your home. The narrow design also provides maximum daylight into the house. Timber is the predominant material with an exterior snap-on aluminum profile, which gives a pleasant combination of wood inside and easy maintenance on the outside.
AURAPLUS is an energy contributor and provides up to +31 kWh/m2 pr. year by allowing more solar heat into the building than it lets out. This means a much lower heating bill during the heating season and significant CO2 savings. Moreover, it improves the indoor climate both for comfort health by minimizing drafts and cold spots.
Auraplus triple glazed doors and windows can come with two colours, one on the inside and one on the outside. The timber frame interior is impreganated with a water based System 2 ØKO coating. After this, primer is added to the timber and then finally topcoat. The paint used has a dry film thickness of 80-100 microns (dry) with a gloss level of 20. The aluminium part is polyester-powder coated with a layer thickness of 60-80 mi. Rational AURAPLUS comes with a gloss level at 30 as standard.
Standard colours come at no extra cost - a representative sample can be found in the technical tab. Due to the vagaries of the internet, it would be best to check an authorised Ral colour card to ensure correct colour matching. Rationel AURAPLUS is extra safe
There is extra security built into Rationel AURAPLUS windows and doors which makes life difficult for the burglar. There are several locking points around the sash/frame construction. The windows and doors are also secured with reinforced fittings as standard and espagnolettes with three locking points.

Rationels Warrantee
Subject to their conditions, Rationel guarantees that the goods supplied will comply in all material respects with their specifications and be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of five years from the time that the risk in them passes from Rationel to the customer.
Furthermore, Rationel's products are covered by a product liability insurance covering damages caused by a Rationel product. The insurance applies if the damage is proved to be caused by a fault caused by Rationel. The insurance does not cover consequential loss, loss of profits or any other indirect loss.
