Warmcel insulation now stocked in Ireland

Ecomerchant has always promoted and sold the Warmcel 100 DIY loft insulation product made from recycled newspaper by Excel Industries in Wales.

Carbon negative insulation

The product benefits from being made from recycled newsprint, making it hydroscopic, it is also considered carbon negative and is a very cost effective natural insulation. So it ticks a lot of boxes for any eco project.

Warmcel stockist

I am excited to announce that Ecomerchant has entered into an agreement with Excel Industries to become a Warmcel stockist in Ireland. Warmcel stock is held at the Dublin Burdens depot to support Excel’s distribution requirements. This marks our first venture into stockholding of sustainable building materials in the Irish Republic.

We will be holding the Warmcel 100 product for DIY installation into horizontal locations and the Panelvent and Paneline sheathing boards, which are manufactured without glues and resins, making them highly breathable and more natural than other sheathing boards.

In addition we will be supporting the approved installer network by stockholding  the Warmcel 300 and 500 product ranges. We hope this will allow installers to quote on a greater variety of projects as they will be able to buy project specific quantities and receive the product far quicker than ever before.
