We offer high insulation blocks and reclaimed bricks, traditional ironmongery for renovation, limes and mortars for both repairing older properties and building new ones and eco-freindly sheet materials and a range of tools ad books.

We promote a Fabric First approach to low environmental impact building solutions and consider the source of the raw materials through manufacturing to site and in use. Recycled content is good but not if it encourages the original production of plastics foe example. Crushing bricks to make aggregate is also a poor use of a high embodied energy resource and salvaging the bricks to be reused is far more sustainable.
