Baumit MP69 Render, Lightweight lime based render 30kg
Used as a base coat render for dense masonry or lightweight block work; as a base coat under Baumit decorative topcoats or as a top coat render for interior and exterior.
Each 30kg bag of Baumit MP69 will cover up to 3m2 at 10mm or 1.6m2 at 18mm.
Consumption kg/m2* : 10.0 kg/m2 / 10 mm thickness
Water requirements* [L /bag]: 8 – 9 L/30 kg bag
*approx. The technical data and consumption rates serve for guidance only. An allowance of 10% more consumption should be calculated in practice.Price is per bag
As a base coat on to light weight backgrounds (λ ≥ 0.11 W/mK) such as light weight block
As a base coat on to normal dense masonry and can be reinforced with a layer of MC55 and StarTex mesh.
As an lightweight rendering mortar for direct application onto newly erected standard and highly thermally insulating masonry (λ ≥ 0.07 W/mK) in internal and external areas.
As a basecoat and plain finish topcoat in a two coat render system or as a basecoat to receive Baumit decorative topcoats, Baumit skimming plasters or tiles.
For external application on masonry with lower lambda values when protected with an additional reinforcement coat.
Substrates must be sound, clean, dry, and free from frost, dust efflorescence and not water repellent. Prepare smooth concrete or very low suction surfaces with Baumit StarContact.
Prepare mixed masonry substrates and natural stone with a spatter dash coating. High suction substrates should be dampened with water using a mist sprayer. Do not saturate aircrete substrates.
Preparation and levelling coatings must be fully cured, well keyed and compatible with the render system.
Baumit MP69 should be mixed by a plaster whisk with clean tap water to a smooth consistency and then applied by hand or it can be spray applied by machine.
Externally it needs to be applied at a minimum thickness of 18mm in one pass and at a maximum of 20mm per coat.
It can also be used internally where it is applied at a typical thickness of 10mm.
Baumit MP69 can then be applied as a top coat at 3mm if required or other finishes from the Baumit range can be applied.
High yield, quick setting, lightweight render with a high proportion of mineral lightweight additives (no EPS).
Good water retention and adhesion, high flexibility (low E-module) and reduced shrinkage to safeguard against cracking.
Once cured the render is water vapour permeable and resistant to weathering, frost attack, impacts and scratches.
Sand, cement, lime, lightweight mineral aggregates and additives to improve workability and adhesion.
