  • Passivhaus Hub Expands Audience To Include Self Builders

    Andrew Pocock, Ecomerchant’s technical manager explaining passive detailing and sustainable materials to visitors at the recent Self Build exhibition.The Passivhaus Hub was created in 2011 to encourage professionals in the construction sector and client groups to learn more about passive design using sustainable materials, with Ecomerchant being a founder member sponsoring events over the last year. The Passivhaus Hub offered to construct a new display section of a building at the National Self Build and Renovation Centre (NSBRC) in Swindon to broaden the activities of the organisation, to include self builders and to support the Centre’s desire to upgrade and replace displays in their educational tour.
